PROJECT #15
Project #15 | Clean water access for children in Liberia
Our partnership with charity: water.
ODW was pleased to partner with charity: water in raising $5,000 to support a clean water project in Liberia. Clean water gives children the opportunity to attend school and get an education. With education, communities are able to raise up strong leaders, making it possible to break the cycle of poverty and allowing future generations to improve their quality of life. Clean water offers kids improved health, a better quality of life and hope for a bright future.
Our partner, charity: water, is a non profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations. We give 100% of the money raised to direct project costs, funding sustainable clean water solutions in areas of greatest need. Just $20 can give one person in a developing nation clean water for 20 years.

A boy drinks from a CW hand-dug well completed in July 2010. The new well serves about 250 people with clean, safe drinking water.
Thank you for making this possible!
Our movement is grassroots, to us that not only means the work on the ground is led by local leaders with the support of the community, but it also means that we raise the funds for our projects through everyday donors just like you. In addition to all the donors that gave $25, $100, or $250 and the campaigners that ran a race or donated their birthday to raise funds, we also want to thank our generous business, school, and faith sponsors who believed in our work and joined the movement.
If you want to support future projects like this you can make a donation to our water & sanitation fund.
