Since 2010, Team Up for Nonprofits has been producing music benefits which build capacity for other nonprofits based in the Seattle area, they call this event program Gigs4Good.Each Gigs4Good benefit supports nonprofit partners in three major ways, they…
- Raise much needed funds, a minimum of 75% of the ticket price to each event donated to the nonprofit partners.
- Deliver increased awareness to the 20′s and 30′s age group, achieved through social media engagement, strategic event advertising and the use of carefully curated, high quality music events as our core product.
- Provide a low impact event in terms of resources and time required for the nonprofit partners, meaning they can continue to stay focused on their mission while Team Up goes to work for them.
ODW Water Fund + Gigs4Good15
Join us on Thursday, May 9 at the historic Columbia City Theater for the next Gigs4Good15 show, an event to support ODW's Water Fund. The show will feature music from Seattle soul and hip hop artists Theoretics, Hot Bodies in Motion and Fly Moon Royalty.
The ODW Water Fund is an issue-specific fund that addresses the lack of access to clean drinking water and basic sanitation. While great progress has been made, there are still around 780 million people around the world that lack access to clean drinking water and nearly 3.4 million people die every year from water related diseases. By donating to this fund, you will help people in dire need gain the essential human right of having access to drinking water and basic sanitation, which will help reduce infant mortality, preventable diseases, and general quality of life.
Tickets to Gigs4Good15 will be $20 and are now available for purchase. This Gigs4Good is expected to sell out early, so grab your tickets now. Doors open at 7pm, 21+ only.
