Because 712 million people still live in extreme poverty and because locally-led organizations still receive only 1.2% of international humanitarian assistance, we invest funds through multi-year grants to organizations working to address core needs in their communities such as access to food, income, water, health and education in order to reduce extreme vulnerability for as many families as possible.
