PROJECT #26

Project #26 | Education for Sex-trafficked Survivors in Cambodia

Our partnership with Transitions Global

Through this grant from One Day’s Wages, Transitions Global was able to improve the Internet service at the Transitions’ Dream Home. The installation of new wiring and cables boosted the power and signal strength, allowing the girls and staff consistent access to the Internet. Each girl was taught job skills needed to function efficiently in the 21st century, such as basic computer knowledge, email, and how to surf the Internet for current events, ideas, and facts. These funds also helped supply Transitions Global with several new computers, and learning software that increased the girls’ English, computer, and life skills. This technology will help girls more easily enter the career fields of their choice.

Thank you for making this possible!

Our movement is grassroots, to us that not only means the work on the ground is led by local leaders with the support of the community, but it also means that we raise the funds for our projects through everyday donors just like you. In addition to all the donors that gave $25, $100, or $250 and the campaigners that ran a race or donated their birthday to raise funds, we also want to thank our generous business, school, and faith sponsors who believed in our work and joined the movement.

If you want to support future projects like this you can make a donation to our human trafficking fund.
