ODW + GRACE TEA

Project #263 | Food and Relief for Ukraine

Our Partnership with Grace Tea

The crisis in Ukraine continues to devastate the country. An estimated 15 million people in Ukraine have been displaced from their homes over the past year.  The need for warm clothing and bedding in the winter months alongside food and hygiene supplies is critical, especially among people living in hard-to-reach conflict zones in the south and east where supply chains have been disrupted.

To respond to the crisis, ODW partnered with Grace Tea: a nonprofit organization founded and led by a Ukranian-Russian couple.  Grace Tea distributes relief supplies to war victims through carefully vetted on-the-ground partners located within Ukraine.  Through our partnership, over 25,000 people received relief packages containing food, hygiene supplies, warm clothes and/or bedding.  Supplies were procured and transported by truck to eastern and southern Ukraine, then distributed in high-need communities.

Thank you for making this possible!

Our movement is grassroots, to us that not only means the work on the ground is led by local leaders with the support of the community, but it also means that we raise the funds for our projects through everyday donors just like you. In addition to all the donors that gave $25, $100, or $250 and the campaigners that ran a race or donated their birthday to raise funds, we also want to thank our generous business, school, and faith sponsors who believed in our work and joined the movement.

If you want to support future projects like this you can make a donation to our emergency relief fund.
