Created in January 2011 at its U.S. flagship property in Seattle, the Pan Pacific PanEarth® program has won national awards for innovative sustainability practices both front and back of house. Pan Pacific was the first boutique hotel in the U.S. to receive Green Globe Certification, an internationally awarded program to recognize hospitality organizations with exceptional commitment to sustainability. In 2013, the property was awarded the Seattle Business Magazine Green Washington Hospitality Award and named to the Washington Green 50 List of the state’s most sustainable businesses.
