Turn your birthday into a movement for good. When you pledge your birthday, you’re saying this year isn’t just about me—it’s about what I believe in. Instead of gifts, invite your friends and family to give toward a cause that reflects not just the age you’re becoming, but the passions that you stand for. One day of giving can ripple outward to encourage entire families working to overcome extreme poverty. With just a few simple steps, your birthday can have a truly meaningful impact.

Meet Laureen, a mother whose life changed after training as a community pump mechanic. Her work ensures clean water access for schools and childcare centers, supporting both public health and school feeding programs. Within a year, she used her earnings to open a grocery shop and expand her farming, improving life for her entire family.

Ruth, a Community Health Worker, holds her baby Grace outside of the health center in northern Togo. Ruth received training through our Maternal and Child Health partnership in her village, and is now able to provide health services to pregnant women and newborn babies.
