One of the unique commitments of One Day's Wages is that we invest 100% of donations (minus credit card costs) to fund strategic projects to alleviate extreme poverty via partnerships and grants.

In less than one year, we've already donated or awarded $170,128 for various projects around the world and we'll be sharing more great news of additional grants and partnerships in the coming months. We absolutely love investing in reliable organizations and vetted projects.

But this week, we were very encouraged by another grant – except this time, we received a check for $5,000 for us and specifically, for our administrative budget. Because we pass on 100% of donations (minus c.c. costs) to projects, we raise our administrative budget completely separately.

How lean is ODW?

Our 2010 administrative budget is $52,530. [This is not a typo!]

We work out of one small office in Seattle, have one paid staff, and our team of interns and staff volunteers are fueled by pizza, Thai food, chocolate, and the passion of knowing that ODW is truly becoming a “movement of people, stories, and actions to alleviate extreme global poverty.”

An Invitation to Invest in the Vision of ODW

As ODW continues to grow in impact and influence and remain committed to 100% of public donations going to partnerships, grants, and projects, we want to simply let our supporters know that you enable the aforementioned commitments by making an investment to ODW's Administrative Fund

If you, your foundation, company, church, club, school, or organization are interested in investing in One Day's Wages, you can simply mail a check to our office with “Administrative Fund” in the memo (or contact us).

We'd rather be talking about strategic ways to end extreme poverty, raising awareness, projects, our partners,  and courageous stories…so this is the rare occasion (the 1st time thus far) we are asking for support for us.

That is all.
