Celebrate 10 Years of Impact
We are honored to celebrate our 10th anniversary this year. We hope you will join us at our Gala where we will share stories of impact, highlight donors and campaigners who fuel this movement, and invite you to be part of our vision for the future. We have exciting hopes and goals in our 10th year, and your passion for this movement helps strengthen our work.
General registration will open June 10th. If you are hosting a table or joining a table host for the Gala, pre-registration will open April 10th. If you’re interested in hosting a table this year, email us.
Why give to the Gala?
We are a 100% model organization. Throughout the year, we give 100% of donations (minus processing fees) directly to projects empowering people in their contexts to fight global poverty. We raise our operating costs separately to make this possible. Our Gala is our one event every year where we invite supporters of this grassroots movement to give to our operations and celebrate the impact of this work. Your generosity fuels our passionate team of dreamers working towards a more just and beautiful world.

THE VENUE: SODO PARK
Tickets are limited, so we ask that all guests be 18 years of age or older. Pre-registration for those hosting a table and their guests will open April 10th. General registration will open June 10th. If you are interested in hosting a table or want to learn more about this opportunity, please contact our Development Director, Kenzie.
Doors open at 5:30pm, the cocktail hour and silent auction will be open until 7:00pm, and then we will have a seated dinner, Live Auction, and hear from our Founder & Executive Director, Eugene Cho.

IS IT REALLY FREE TO ATTEND?
Yes, our Gala is free to attend. Instead of charging a ticket price, we hope each guest feels compelled to be part of our movement by financially supporting our growth. This year, we are challenging each guest to give $400 or start a monthly donation of $35. Donations will be matched be our generous Sponsors, doubling the impact of your gift!
HOW DO I REGISTER & WHEN DOES REGISTRATION CLOSE?
Steps to register:
- Click here and select “Register”.
- If you are sitting with a Gala Chair/Table Host, choose “Gala Ticket with Hosted Table”.
- If you are not sitting at a reserved table, choose “Gala Ticket for General Registration”.
- Select your ticket quantity: one ticket per person, so if you are registering as a couple or group then select the correct ticket quantity. Please note that due to the nature of this event and limited space, we are asking that all guests be 18 years of age or older.
- Click “Checkout” and fill out your information. Please include your phone number so you can participate in mobile bidding & giving during the event.
- Click “Complete Registration” to secure your ticket(s).
Registration closes Sunday, September 8th. If you would like to attend the Gala, you must register by 11:00pm PST that night.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE & WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Doors open at 5:30 pm. You will have time to check in at our registration table to receive your bid number, enjoy cocktail hour, and participate in the Silent Auction before dinner begins at 7:00 pm.
The dress code for this event is cocktail attire.
HOW DO I SPONSOR OR HOST A TABLE?
We’re so glad you’re interested in Sponsoring our Gala or hosting a table this year! We would love to partner with you through a Sponsorship, which is a donation used to match giving during the event. If you, your business, faith group, or other connection are interested in being a Gala Sponsor, please contact our Development Director, Kenzie. Sponsorships are recognized in our Gala Program and event materials.
If you are interested in hosting a table of 10 guests (including yourself), we do have a couple tables available. We are anticipating a full event, so please contact us as soon as possible if you’d like to learn more about hosting a table.
HOW DOES THE AUCTION WORK?
We will have a Silent Auction, Live Auction, and Dessert Dash. Guests will bid on items in the Silent Auction using their phones, so please include your phone number when you register. This mobile bidding and giving platform will also be used for Live Auction, Dessert Dash, and general donations throughout the evening. If you want to bid on an item, but are not able to attend the Gala, stay tuned because we might be able to have a few select items open to those outside of the event.
100% of money raised goes to supporting our operations, and the amount of your donation that exceeds the fair market value of any item(s) won will be tax-deductible.
We are looking for people who are able to donate in-kind gifts for us to include in our Auction. If you are interested in donating airline miles, sports or theater tickets, gift cards, or have other ideas, please contact us by August 1st.
WILL THERE BE FOOD & DRINKS?
Yes! There will be a seated dinner and dessert dash. We will have gluten-free food options. If you would like a vegetarian meal, you will need to include that when you register. We will have wine generously donated by Helix Wines, local beer, and hard cider. There will also be non-alcoholic beverages available.
