This year at One Day's Wages could not have happened without all of your support and generosity. Because of your trust and support, we were able to raise over $420,000, and 100% (minus credit card fees) will be invested in people and projects all over the world as we continue the fight to end extreme global poverty.
Our community is spread across over 40 different countries and our support comes from people of all ages, companies, churches, schools, artists and musicians. We are so grateful for this community that continues to stand behind the vision of ODW. Thanks to you, we are excited to announce that we engaged in 24 projects in 2013.
Empowering and Impacting Communities
These projects are empowering people and making an impact on communities all over the world. These are a couple of the 24 projects that we've worked on this year:
- This year we launched Micro-match Grants. The Adventure Project (TAP) was one of the many that benefited from these new grants. TAP is doing work to provide sustainable business and clean water in Uganda. We recently were able to fund one village of 250 people a rehabilitated well and a trained mechanic nearby.
- Through our partnership with Mali Health Organizing Project, we were able to fund the construction of a maternity ward and a basic laboratory in one of the poorest areas of Bamako, Mali.
Year-End Giving
If you're thinking about making a “year-end” donation, we'd be honored if you'd consider One Day's Wages. You can give to any of our current partnerships or funds. As always, 100% of your donations (minus credit card fees) go directly to the cause to empower people. Additionally, you can also give to our Administration Fund which supports our operations and allow us to continue to grow this movement.
Thank you from the ODW Team, for your partnership, support, and trust in the work we are doing. You are truly making an impact.
